Nach dem Erfolg der ersten Ausgabe kehrt das Custom Starter Set mit FINAL FANTASY XIII zurück. Das Set enthält ein Feuer & Blitz-Deck mit 50 Karten, das mit den 50 zusätzlich enthaltenen Karten nach Belieben angepasst werden kann (z. B. Eis & Blitz, Feuer & Eis oder eine der 26 austauschbaren Karten für ein ganz eigenes Deck). Mit einer Kurzanleitung für den Einstieg und einer Anleitung zum Anpassen des Decks ist dies ein unkompliziertes Deck-Building der Extraklasse! Ebenfalls enthalten sind exklusive Starterkarten sowie 1 Premium-Vollkunst, 1 Vollkunst und 2 Legenden-Nachdrucke.

Unter den 100 Karten, die im Deck und in den Anpassungskarten enthalten sind, befinden sich insgesamt 30 neue Starterkarten (jeweils 3 Karten von 10 verschiedenen Karten). Bei der Starter-Karte Blitz [19-138S] ist eine der Karten eine Full Art Premium Foil-Karte. Zusätzlich wird eine der [13-081H] Blitz-Reprint-Karten eine Full-Art-Karte mit normaler Spezifikation sein. 2 Legend-Karten-Reprints, [1-018L] Bahamut und [11-037L] Barthandelus (jeweils 2 Exemplare), sind ebenfalls im Set enthalten.

“Custom Starter Set FINAL FANTASY XIII” is the second release in the “Custom Starter Set” series, which includes one 50-card deck, along with 50 customization cards for players to experience the fun of customizing their own deck.

By simply replacing the Fire or Lightning element cards within the Starter deck (24 Fire, 24 Lightning, 2 Light element cards), with the 24 Ice element cards included in the customization cards, you can easily transform the deck into a “Fire/Ice” deck or an “Ice/Lightning” deck. Also, there are 26 freely interchangeable cards, allowing players to create an original custom deck of their own.

Unlike the “Two Player Starter Set”, the “Custom Starter Set” contains only 1 deck. However, it allows players to experience the fun of deck building for the first time, which can be a hurdle for many beginners.
Among the 100 cards included in the deck and customization cards, there are 30 total new Starter cards (3 cards each of 10 different cards). For the Starter card Lightning [19-138S], one of the cards will be a Full Art Premium Foil card.

Also, one of the reprinted cards, Lightning [13-081H], will be a Full Art Standard (non-Foil) card.
